Moonlight Basin - Art & Parks Series

This project was developed for Moonlight Basin’s summer “Arts & Parks” series—a creative weekly event where children explore art outdoors on the lawn.

The logo merges a tree with a paintbrush, visually representing the event’s fusion of nature and creativity. The minimal, organic linework complements the natural setting while appealing to both children and parents. The warm color palette evokes sunshine and playfulness, aligning with the laid-back, summer vibe of the event.

The flyer design was kept clean and modern, balancing playful elements with a polished, upscale look consistent with Moonlight Basin’s brand. A clear hierarchy was established to highlight key event details, while texture and typographic contrast added sophistication without overwhelming the content.

Moonlight Community Foundation - Summer Ski Bridge Event

This poster was created for the Moonlight Community Foundation’s annual Summer Ski Bridge fundraising event and auction. The design needed to evoke the natural beauty of Moonlight Basin, while appealing to a community of residents, donors, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Inspired by the iconic ski bridges in Moonlight Basin, I used stylized visual elements drawn directly from these structures to anchor the layout and reflect the event’s name and spirit. The typography balances clarity and sophistication, while the structured grid mirrors the geometry of the bridges themselves—subtly reinforcing the theme of connection.

Color, layout, and hierarchy were intentionally designed to be both eye-catching and accessible, with a premium feel that reflects the nonprofit's values and the caliber of auction items, like original artwork and naming rights for a ski run.

Moonlight Basin - Men's Bathroom Art

This series of digital collages was designed as part of a whimsical art installation for the men's bathroom at Moonlight Basin. The concept was to create artwork that, at first glance, appears to be a classic vintage alpine or outdoor scene—but upon closer inspection, reveals humorous and surreal elements intended to entertain and surprise viewers in an unexpected setting.

Blending black-and-white vintage photography with modern digital compositing, I aimed to preserve a nostalgic, timeless aesthetic while introducing subtly absurd moments: a skier soaring in the sky, a curious ermine photobombing a ski line, a boy with a hawk juxtaposed against a woman fishing beside mysterious lake creatures.

From a distance, the scenes read as standard retro photography, aligning with the rustic luxury of Moonlight Basin’s environment. Up close, however, the humor emerges—offering a quiet, visual punchline that fits the casual, relaxed spirit of the space.

This project balanced storytelling, humor, and subtle design—highlighting my ability to craft environmental artwork that both blends in and surprises, creating an engaging experience in even the most unexpected spaces.
